 | Q. When are you open?
A. We are open seven days a week, and during the evening once the lighter nights are with us. However, all events must be pre-booked at least two weeks prior. Q. What times can we play? A. We ask people to arrive, at the earliest 10:00am with play starting about fortyfive minutes after everyone has arrived, changed and safety talked. This is not written in stone as you may wish to start later or even in the afternoon - during the Summer we can always play in the early evening but play stops in the Winter at 3:30 due to light.
Q. Does paintball hurt? A. When you first start playing you may be a bit 'scared' of getting hit - but that's all part of the fun! The first impact will sting, not really hurt - afterwhich you will be aware of it but not as worried about getting hit. We do take safety as paramount to avoid accidents and dangerous play, so don't worry too much, and we do keep an eye on close quarter play (less than 7 metres) unless you are all professional players! You shouldn't get hit anyway if you're any good! One of the best things that you can do is make sure you wear suitable clothing such as a baggy jumper and pants as that will lessen, and possibly, even remove the effect - we do provided you with camos (NBC suits, double layered camos) that give you great protection. We don't use the poor quality paintball camos as they offer absolutely no protection at all. Q. Do you have a league and a sponsored team? A. Not at present - we have considered setting up both but we are curently too busy with regular paintball events. Q. Which paintball markers do you use? A. 99% of the markers we use are Infernos, we also have a couple Spyders and a Thundercat. They are all semi-automatic.

| Q. What happens if it rains? Is it called off?
A. NO! WHY should it be? It's only rain! We may wait a bit to see if it eases off if it is raining heavy, but if it doesn't we still go out and play. You just get a bit wet.
Q. How long can we play for? A. We normally start during the morning but will play as long as light permits - obviously this is much greater in the Spring and Summer months so technically we can go on until late in the evening. This happens rarely as you and the marshalls are usually getting very tired at tea time - in the Winter we tend to cease play about one hour before darkness as we have to clear the site, tidy up, and pack up all the equipment.
Q. Why does paintball cost so much to play?
A. There are quite heavy costs involved with each days play. Staff wages, at least three but usually four Marshall's at a minimum for each event, the land owners charge for using the site, washing, transport, CO2 gas, and repairs and replacements to the markers, camos etc. Costs are also involved outside events as all markers are routinely stripped down and such the staff involved require payment, plus gas and paintball costs. And don't forget our internet costs, and advertsing. Q. How do I stop my mask from steaming up? A. All the masks that we use are anti-steam, but on certain days with high humidity this may still happen. The best advice is breathe in through your nose and out your mouth. The various sprays such as those for motorcycle helmet visors and specific anti-fog sprays don't work - don't waste your money buying them!
